S.E.E. Acquires Solytic: Industry-Leading Monitoring for Maximum Security

S.E.E. Servicegesellschaft Erneuerbare Energien mbH (S.E.E.), a leading provider of security solutions and services for the photovoltaic and energy storage sectors, has acquired Solytic, the market leader in manufacturer-independent solar monitoring. This strategic acquisition enables S.E.E. to further expand its offering in digital monitoring and optimization of PV plants and parks, while enhancing the portfolio of its PV SECURE brand. With this move, S.E.E. strengthens its position as a key partner for installers in the PV and energy storage industries.

Through the acquisition of Solytic, S.E.E. aims to prepare its professional partners for future challenges. Solytic’s monitoring solution operates independently of manufacturers and saves customers both time and money compared to competing systems. Additionally, Solytic’s technology is already prepared for future developments such as virtual power plants and the integration of additional technologies like heat pumps.

Solytic’s IoT data platform allows users to monitor the performance of various PV plants and components through a single, cloud-based platform. This saves professional partners time and effort, as they no longer need to rely on multiple portals and systems. This solution is complemented by PV SECURE’s comprehensive service and security package, allowing customers with portfolios of different sizes to benefit from a hassle-free solution.

In addition to the extensive security and service products for PV plants offered under the PV SECURE brand, S.E.E. as a parent company now provides an even broader range of services and innovations. Both professional partners and plant operators can now monitor and proactively optimize their PV plants more efficiently and cost-effectively.

Hardy Narjes, Managing Director of S.E.E., said: “With Solytic, we are able to offer our professional partners a central, manufacturer-independent platform that allows them to keep track of all components of their PV plants. This gives us the ability to offer far more than just security in the here and now – we deliver a solution that is prepared for future requirements. This unique combination of greater efficiency and profitability for PV plants is also a real time and cost-saver in the day-to-day work of plant managers, installers, and solar technicians.”

Solytic’s existing customers will be informed of all relevant changes in the coming weeks. For them, operations will remain unchanged, while they gain access to PV SECURE’s expanded service offerings.
